The content is generated by the users themselves who take information from RSS flows of information sites. Thefanclub.com also lets you create topics for discussion between users. Netco Sports is planning to roll out thefanclub.com worldwide between 2010 and 2011.
History
In May 2008, Netco Sports opened its first community site, a social network for soccer fans, www.zefanclub.com in France, sponsored by sports commentator Thierry Roland and www.zefanclub.com.tr in Turkey. This first site has over 120,000 members, all soccer fans. Boosted by this experience, Netco Sports has developed its concept and in November 2009 opened Thefanclub.com, an exclusive community for sports fans and a site fully connected to iPhone applications.
